Refund Policy

Goods For House's return and exchange policy allows you to return items purchased from Goods For House for specified reasons within the return period. Our customers are valued not only at the time of sale but also during the Returns and Refunds process.
The processing time for returns would be 7 business days from the date of request.


Return Policy
Our shipments are carefully examined before leaving our warehouse; However, if you are not happy with your purchase, returns and replacements will be at the discretion of Goods For House only.
To begin with the process, please follow the steps below:
Decor Items

  • You can return a product within 7 days of delivery if it is damaged, broken, or the wrong item was supplied.
  • The product has a genuine quality mistake or damage, such as manufacturing defects or transit damage.
  • Goods For House will return the cost of the products based on the refund policy listed below.
  • The product cannot be returned once it has been used.
  • Please Note customers only get one free replacement if the product delivered is not damaged. In case the customer wants to replace again because they did not like the products shipping charges as shared by the company to be borne by the customer.

 Furniture 
All our products are handmade by experienced artisans, one piece at a time, making each piece unique. Due to this approach, there may be tiny variations in colour tone, shape, or size between products that are not considered defects and are not eligible for return or replacement.
You can only return the product within 07 days after the date of delivery if the product received is damaged or broken or the wrong item has been shipped.
Send us photographs of the product as received while submitting a return request.
Goods For House will issue a refund for the cost of the goods as per the claiming refund policy mentioned below.


Exchange Policy
We do not provide exchanges for the products. You can raise the return request as per the return policy and then place a fresh order for a new product.

Return Pick-Up Policy:
Goods For House provides our customers with a convenient, hassle-free Return Pick-up policy. Our policy is thoughtfully designed to ease up the entire pick-up process, save time and make you feel reassured about your order.
•You can submit a request through the website or by emailing us at help@goodsforhouse.com within 7 days of delivery. You can also WhatsApp us at +91 9906682636.
• Please mention your order number and share product images along with the reason for the return to help us quickly process your returns.

  • The returned product must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in saleable condition.
    • We request you maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned, including the product tags.
    • The pick-up delivery guy will do a basic quality check for the product. If the quality check fails, the delivery person reserves the right to refuse the pickup.
    • Please ensure that all the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.
    • The items for reverse pick up will be picked up within 5 business days from the date of request.
    • Return requests will be accepted if the item(s) pass basic quality checks upon delivery.
    Cancellation of Return Request
    Once a return request has been submitted, you can cancel it by emailing Customer Service at help@goodsforhouse.com. If the Logistics Service Provider arrives to receive the item and you want to cancel the request, you can notify the Logistics Service Provider that you do not want to return the product.

Claiming Refunds For Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking Transactions: funds, banks normally take 4-5 business days to process a refund once it has been successfully initiated from our end.

  • If a customer ships the item(s) themselves and the shipment is lost in transit, there won't be any refunds.
  • Once a refund mode is selected, it cannot be changed after the product has reached our partner warehouse
For COD (Cash on Delivery) Transactions:
  • Refunds can happen via Goods For House Credits/Transfers into the customer’s bank account.
    • Refunds via Goods For House credits can be redeemed on the next purchase at goodsforhouse.com within the validity date.
    • Refunds to bank accounts shall be processed within 7-8 business days.
    • Refunds cannot be processed to third-party bank accounts. The name of the customer initiating the refund should match the name of the bank account holder.
    • Cash refunds are not allowed for COD orders.
    • Refunds will only be initiated.
  • Refunds will only be initiated after we have physically received the returned shipment. Hence Refunds will not be applicable in case a customer has self-shipped the item(s) and the package is lost in transit.
